How to request deletion
If you would like to request deletion of your TA Scale account and associated data, please email us at:

Email subject:
TA Scale – Account Deletion Request
Please include the following information in your request:
1) Username (or account identifier used in the app)
2) Your company/organization name (if applicable)
3) A contact email address and phone number
4) Any additional details that help us locate your account (optional)
Identity verification
For security, we may ask for additional information to verify that you are the account owner or an authorized company representative.
What will be deleted
Upon successful verification and processing, we will delete or anonymize (as applicable):
- Account identifiers and authentication-related data (e.g., username, access/session records)
- Measurement records saved in the cloud (including sensor/measurement values)
- Calibration data associated with the account
- Location/address/speed metadata attached to measurement records (if collected)
What may be retained
We may retain limited data only where required for legal obligations, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or security purposes, such as:
- Security/audit logs related to unauthorized access attempts
- Records that must be retained under applicable laws (if any)
Retention time (after deletion request)
- We aim to complete account deletion within 30 days after verification.
- Data in backups may remain for up to 30 additional days, after which it is overwritten/removed according to our backup cycle.
- Any legally required retained records, if applicable, are kept only for the legally required period and access is restricted.
If you cannot access the app
You can use this webpage and email process even if you no longer have the TA Scale app installed.
